History of Method Acting with Shahameh Dizaei

Shahameh Dizaei is the wife of Ali Dizaei, the former head of the London police and an Iranian lawyer. Mrs. Dizaei is known as an actress and a well-known figure in the virtual world and is now active in this direction.

She said: “Lee Strasberg and Elia Kazan introduced it to American acting studios and acting classes in the 1930s with the expansion of method acting. Strasberg says that according to method acting, the actor must live the character to its full length and not just On stage or in front of the camera, actors have committed themselves to the role by gaining and losing weight, changing sleep times, following a diet plan, and becoming a “character” based on the play.

However, the method acting technique was invented in the early 1900s by Konstantin Stanislavsky, a Russian actor and theater director. Stanislavsky did not invent the term “method acting” at the time, but his principles and concepts provided a framework for actors to create authentic characters. Stanislavsky’s method was to have the actors use their personal experiences and memories to evoke real emotions and relate to the characters. This was in contrast to the traditional, theatrical and classical acting of the time.

According to Strasberg, actors should be on a blank slate before taking on another character. Therefore, before creating a character, actors must understand where they have tension in their body and how to release it. After releasing the tension, the actors must create a new orientation in their lives to better understand the world around them, such as focusing on certain sounds or eliminating certain sounds. Actors must pay attention to their senses to create believable stimuli in their work.”
