Scott Weber, both a Certified Franchise Executive and member of the Florida Bar, brings 24 years of legal experience in the franchise, restaurant, and service industries.
Formerly, Scott was the Chief Legal Officer at HOA Brands (the parent company of the Hooters(R) and hoots(R) restaurant systems). Scott oversaw all legal and risk matters for HOA Brands. Prior to HOA Brands, he served for 3 years as the outside general counsel for the WingHouse(R) restaurants, and for 6 years as a founder and General Counsel for Gulf Recovery Solutions, an oil spill valuation consulting firm. During the 8 years prior to Scott joining HOA Brands, he was the founder and partner in his own law firm, Scott Phillip Weber, P.A. d/b/a Franchise Legal Solutions which focused on domestic and international development, mergers and acquisitions, and other areas of the franchise and distribution sectors.
